A group of enthusiastic and energetic young Radio Worker (Volunteer) i.e. Asgar, Didar with others has worked continuously to disseminate weather forecasting for the people of Hatiya and Nizumdwip through community radio “Radio Sagardwip” during 26th to 30th May 2017 while the devastating Cyclone “MORA” formed and moved through the coastal district of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Noakhali, Feni, Laxmipur, Chandpur and their Offshore Island and Chars in the Bay of Bengal.
